According to Warrensburg Main Street, Warrensburg Burg Fest, the yearly town festival, is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 10 from 4:30 to 11 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m.- to 11 p.m.

Admission is free to everything except for the carnival. The festival is located in downtown Warrensburg surrounding the Johnson County Courthouse on North Holden Street and will also occupy several side streets in the downtown area.

Local residents and visitors alike, as well as their pets, are encouraged to visit throughout both days for varying attractions. Vendors will be dispersed along the streets with stalls selling a variety of wares all day. Current count shows 116 vendors have signed up, with goods like jewelry, candles, flowers, décor, and more.

Also included among that number are an array of food vendors, offering lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert options. Alongside that, there will be a beer garden present for those 21 and older to enjoy during the afternoon and night hours of both days.

Other than those constants, there will be time sensitive attractions. A car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Likewise, a carnival will be available with various rides on Friday from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday from 12-10 p.m.

Finally, there will be live performances from local Missouri bands and acts spaced throughout the schedule, including The Nobodies, Cedar Creek Band, The Nace Brothers, Dogzilla, Clay Clear Band, the UCM jazz band, drumline, and cheerleaders, a performance by Springfield Aerial Fitness, and more. Check the Warrensburg Main Street page for information on specific times for those performances.

This will be the 12th year that Warrensburg Main Street, a non-profit organization that seeks to promote and improve Warrensburg’s downtown, has held the festival. The event always draws great crowds and shines a spotlight on both the unique community of the town and its multitude of small businesses.
