A Warsaw woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2007 Nissan Sentra, driven by 41-year-old D'aana M. Ambrose of Warsaw, was on Missouri 7 at Turkey Creek Hill around 9:40 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned. The Nissan continued overturning, coming to rest in the center of Missouri 7 Highway.

Ambrose suffered serious injuries and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

The Nissan was totaled.
