Warsaw Woman Injured in Two-truck Crash

A Warsaw woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2000 Ford F-250, driven by 51-year-old William R. Sands of Edwards, attempted to make a turn and struck a northbound 2006 Dodge Ram, driven by 50-year-old Brenda L. Rains of Warsaw.

Rains suffered minor injuries, and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
