Water Line Project to Close One Block of West Fifth Wednesday Through Friday

West 5th Street between Missouri and Vermont will be closed Wednesday through Friday this week to allow for water line improvements, the City of Sedalia said on Tuesday.

The closure will last from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days.

The water line work requires placement of equipment that will block the roadway while new pipes are installed, the City explained. The project depends on favorable weather. The roadway is expected to open by 5:30 p.m. Friday.
