Windsor Woman Killed in JoCo Crash

A Windsor woman was killed and a Lincoln woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2017 Ford Explorer, driven by 76-year-old Patricia S. Malone of Windsor, was on Missouri 23 at SE 725th Road around 4:40 p.m., when the Ford Explorer crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2004 Dodge Ram, driven by 34-year-old Jessica N. Lindsay of Lincoln, head on.

Malone was pronounced dead at the scene by Johnson County Coroner Clark Holdren at 6:07 p.m. The body was taken to Sweeney Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.

Lindsay suffered minor injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center by JCAD.
