4-year-old boy ran over in the camp grounds at the Missouri State fair

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a truck and a bicycle on the camp grounds of the Missouri State Fair Grounds at 8:20pm Wednesday night. The accident reportedly happened on a gravel road in the camp grounds when a 2003 GMC Truck driven by 67-year-old Kenneth W. Claspille of Wellsville Missouri veered into the bicycle 4-year-old Burk E. Beetsma of Chillicothe was riding. The report states the collision caused the boy to fall over, and was run over by the truck. Fortunately the 4-year-old victim received only minor injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
