Pettis County man arrested Tuesday on multiple charges including Statutory Rape
According to a Pettis County Sheriff’s report Tuesday morning A female victim filed a complaint with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department of a domestic incident involving weapons. The Sheriff’s report states Jason H. Meyer of Rural Pettis County was arrested and subsequently charged with 1st degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and attempted statutory rape.
Homeless man arrested for a parole violation also arrested for stealing
Around 2:20 this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police arrested 49-year-old Douglas Eugene Bolejack a homeless person on a Pettis County warrant for a parole violation. Bolejack was transported to the Pettis County jail pending a bond of $3500 on the warrant. Upon arrival at the jail Bolejack was found to be in possession of stolen items from the Walmart Store. He was placed on 24-hour hold pending additional charges.
Traffic stop results in arrest for a Sedalia woman
Just after mid-night this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police arrested 40-year-old Janet Ochoa of Sedalia for operating a vehicle with no operator’s license. She was transported to the Pettis County jail, where she was booked and released with a court date.
Suspect sought on an insufficient check charge
At 11:59 Wednesday morning Sedalia Police received information from the Pettis County Prosecutor’s Office, that a man had given an insufficient fund check to Ollison’s Used Cars here in Sedalia as final payment for a truck. The police report states the car dealer gave the suspect a lien release at the time, and then the check came back insufficient. There was no other information in that police report.
