Thieves hit the Dollar General on Sedalia’s East side Thursday

At 6:36 Thursday Evening the Sedalia Police responded to the Dollar General at 713 East Broadway on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant told the officers two black males came into the store, and filled two book bags with items then left without paying. The complainant said one of the black males was on crutches, and got into a vehicle and headed East on 7th Street, while the other black male ran North on Marvin. The police report states both bags of items containing a total of $140.96 worth of merchandise were recovered. The report also states one of the suspects has been identified, but neither suspect had been located at the time of the police report.

Vandals damage the Liberty Park Pool

Just after 7am this (Friday) morning the Sedalia Police investigated a case of vandalism at the Liberty Park Pool. Upon arrival the complainant told the officers someone had spray painted the walls all over the Liberty Park Pool. Damage was estimated to be around $1500. Unfortunately the suspects had already slithered away and were not apprehended.
