While on routine patrol at 2:41 a.m. Thursday, Sedalia Police observed a female passed out on the northeast corner of Fifth and Kentucky. Christina Ann Wilken, 31, Sedalia, was placed in protective custody, taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for evaluation, then transported to the Pettis County Jail.

And on Thursday at 6:19 p.m. Police took a theft report at Dollar General, 619 N. Ohio, concerning a female suspect who walked into the store, picked up a case of beer and a pair of shoes, then left without paying. The items have an estimated value of $21.50. There are no suspects at this time, police said.

The Pettis County Sheriff's office reported that a concerned citizen turned in a camouflaged bag that was found on the roadside near Howard Quarry on West 50.
