Lots of Outdoor Events Coming in September
MO Kids Outdoors Field Day and Trail Cam Photo Contest are Scheduled
The fair is over, the weather is great, and the kids are back in school. With a record drought going on, food plots are looking terrible, the creeks are low and the lakes are drooping. However, you can still catch crappie and some nice cats too. Plus, the deer are still looking great. It’s also looking like there’s going to be a lot of turkey this year too.

There’s a lot going on this week, so let’s get right to it! First, the Crappie are biting in three to six feet of water on the flats, and 25 – 30 feet of water on channels and bluffs. Make sure you’ve got your jig tip with minnow. Daylight until about 10:00 a.m. is the best time to find them, but they seem to shut down after that.
