Every year, we are bombarded with Christmas music. It is everywhere and takes many forms.  Music in elevators, in stores, on television and yes, on the radio.

It seems like only yesterday that the LoCash Cowboys came rolling into town for the first time.  They didn't have much back then, an old van and a dream.  I remember seeing the lineup for the Bud Tent for the Missouri State Fair and thinking, "What the heck is a LoCash Cowboy?"

KSIS Radio will be updating the 2012 General Election results for Pettis County  throughout the evening of November 6, 2012.  Results are reported from Secretary of State Robin Carnahan and Nick LaStrada, Pettis County Clerk.

The Smith-Cotton football Tigers end their regular season at St. Pius Friday night (October 19).  The outcome of this game will determine final seedings in the districts which begin Friday, October 26.  The Tigers need a two touchdown win over St. Pius to help secure a home field advantage to begin the Districts.

As the season winds down, the games become more important for the conference and district standings.  This game will be the most evenly matched game on paper that we have covered this year. Both teams come in at 4-3 overall, both have lost to the same conference opponents, and both average around 30 points per game.

After the completion of the Missouri State Fair, the Missouri State Fair Commission discussed the condition of Mango Jack's Building on the fairgrounds.  The commission claims that the condition of the building warrants it to be torn down. For many years, we have had dedicated listeners for 'Coast to Coast,' whether it be Art Bell or George Noory. We will continue to bring you that program. However the Premiere Network is making a change to the 11pm-midnight portion of the show and a new host will be there as a lead in to Coast To Coast.
