Fireball Run: America’s Frontier, is an online reality-filmed entertainment series - and it's coming to Sedalia in just a couple of short weeks.

Since 2007, Fireball Run has been The Most Epic Adventurally in America, a gripping 8 day, 2000 mile, life-size trivia game, where America serves as the game board; part live event, part streamed, and part 25 episode series. Unlike reality TV, FIREBALL RUN is authentic and real; 40 celebrity and aspirational driving teams compete for bragging rights, a greater cause, and a plastic road sign. All while raising awareness for missing children. Sedalia Trailblazers has been assigned and will raise awareness for local missing child, Beck Hotsenpiller. Beck Hotsenpiller, now 3 years old, who has been missing since July 30, 2013 is victim of a non-custodial abduction.
To move about the country and score, teams solve clues and accomplish tasks based on area; points-of-interest, history, & culture. Although a living trivia game, there is nothing trivial about FIREBALL RUN’s message or results. Often referred to as “the most fun you will ever have, doing the most important thing you’ve ever done”, every team is assigned a missing child from their home of origin and tasked with distributing posters; the effort annually distributes 65,000 posters across America and has aided in 43 recoveries since 2007. Child Rescue Network serves as the shows official charity.   And, as you know, Fireball Run is coming to Sedalia the weekend of October 3 and 4.  I got to talk with the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Angie Thompson, about more of the fun we'll have at Fireball Run.

So make sure you get to downtown Sedalia and bring the whole family to line those streets.  This is something completely new and different to our area.  The event is streamed live. Supporters and fans can track team locations Sedalia Trailblazers via live GPS by AmberAlertGPS at www.fireballrun.com/live. All seasons, all episodes, are all available online, so if you want to find out more about the Fireball Run series, visit their website, like them on Facebook, or keep your radio tuned to our stations. We'll have updates every week from some aspect of the Fireball Run every Tuesday until the show rolls into town!
Fire-lly yours,
Behka
