Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report For Thursday July 23, 2015

Two women injured Wednesday evening in a Henry County accident

At 5:22pm Wednesday evening the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 52 east of Southwest 52 Road in Henry County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2010 Toyota Camry driven by 36-year-old Dorotha J. Godwin of Lamonte crossed the centerline, and struck the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 50-year-old Robin R. McClure of Deepwater head-on. Godwin was not wearing a seatbelt according to the accident report, and suffered serious injuries. Godwin was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight Eagle for treatment. McClure was wearing her seatbelt, and received moderate injuries in the crash. She was transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City by Staff For Life for treatment.
