Johnson County accident injures an Odessa man and a Warrensburg child

At 5:40 Sunday evening the Missouri State highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 13 at Route “YY” in Johnson County. The accident occurred as the 2009 Chevrolet driven by 36-year-old James D. Callaway of Leeton over took and struck the rear of a 1997 Chevrolet driven by Sumar H. Lunceford of Odessa, as Lunceford was attempting to make a left turn. Lunceford and a passenger in her vehicle 8-year-old Kren Hackley of Warrensburg received minor injuries, and were taken to Western Missouri Medical in Warrensburg by private vehicle for treatment.

Two-Clinton residents injured in a Henry County accident Sunday night

Around 10:40pm Sunday night two Clinton residents suffered minor injuries in a two vehicle accident on Missouri Highway “7” at Northwest 401 Road in Henry County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states the crash occurred as the 1991 Oldsmobile driven by Alyssa L. Shanks of Clinton slowed to make a left turn, and was struck in the rear by a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country Van driven by 83-year-old Arthur J. Danforth also of Clinton. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Danforth was transported to Golden Valley Memorial by EMS for treatment, while Shanks was treated and released at the scene.

73-year-old Miami Missouri man injured in a Saline County accident

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report 73-year-old Roy W. Eddy of Miami Missouri received minor injuries when his 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche was rear ended by an unknown vehicle, that fled from the scene following the accident. The accident reportedly happened on Missouri Highway 127 just north of Marvia Road in Saline County around 7:30 Monday night. Eddy was wearing his seatbelt, and suffered only minor injuries in the collision, and will seek his own treatment. There was no other information on the striking vehicle at the time of the accident report.
