Henry County accident seriously injures a Clinton man Thursday

Just before 6pm on Thursday the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 7 just West of County Road Northeast 681 in Henry County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of a 2005 Dodge Ram, 80-year-old Guido C. Santero of Clinton suffered a medical emergency, and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle travelled off the roadway, and struck an embankment. Santero suffered serious injuries, and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital by Lifeflight Eagle Air Ambulance for treatment.

Three injuries reported in a Pettis County accident Thursday afternoon

At 2:18pm Thursday afternoon a two-vehicle accident was reported on Southbound-65 Highway North of Route “V” in Pettis County. According to the Missouri State Highway patrol accident report the crash occurred as a 1984 Ford Truck driven by 73-year-old David W. Carson of Mora slowed to make a turn. The report states a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 29-year-old Darci D. Burroughs of Lincoln failed to slow to traffic, and struck the Carson vehicle in the rear. Burroughs received moderate injuries in the crash, and was taken to University Hospital by Staff for Life for treatment. Carson and his passenger 65-year-old Ethel A. Carson of Mora had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Johnson County accident injures three Thursday morning 

Around 10am Thursday morning the Missouri State highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident, that happened on Westbound US-50 Highway at Northwest 1201 Road in Johnson County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2004 Volvo driven by 22-year-old Deni R. Vaught of Oak Grove slid off the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned coming to rest on its top. The accident report states Vaught and a passenger 22-year-old Jessica L. Eddy of St. Louis were not wearing seat belts and received moderate injuries in the accident. They were taken to Centerpoint Hospital by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment. A third victim 37-year-old Doris J. Wastek of Mayview was wearing her seatbelt, and complained of minor injuries. She was taken to Western Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

Kansas City man injured in a Lafayette County accident Thursday evening

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report a rollover accident occurred on Northbound Route “Z” at McDaniel Road in Lafayette County at 6:35pm Thursday evening. The accident happened according to that report as the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 28-year-old Gregory S. Duncan of Kansas City Missouri travelled off the roadway, struck the ground, became airborne, and rolled over in a field and caught fire. Duncan received minor injuries, and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by SNI Valley Ambulance for treatment.
