Benton County Accident this (Friday) morning injures a Marshall man

At 7:07 this (Friday) afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one vehicle injury accident on Route “M” just North of Gardiner Road in Benton County. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet, 57-year-old Gary D. Garrett of Marshall swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, and ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Garrett who reportedly suffered moderate injuries decided to seek his own treatment.

Johnson County accident injures a 31-year-old Warrensburg woman

The Missouri state Highway Patrol  reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Business Highway 13 at Southeast 130 Road in Johnson County at 9:49 Tuesday night. The accident happened according to the report as the driver of a 2012 Yamaha 23-year-old Jimmie D. Rowcliff of Warrensburg was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left turn when a 2006 Lincoln Town Car driven by 75-year-old Thomas A. Taylor of Warrensburg struck the Yamaha in the rear, ejecting a passenger. The passenger identified as 31-year-old Ashley L. Farrens of Warrensburg was not wearing safety devices, and suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for treatment.
