Lincoln man suffers serious injuries in a Benton County crash

At 5:30am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “H” a mile before Fire Tower Avenue in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1994 Ford Explorer driven by 24-year-old Michael Popp of Lincoln travelled off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt. Popp suffered serious injuries, and was transported to University Hospital by Warsaw Lincoln EMS for treatment.

Two Odessa women injured in a Johnson County accident Wednesday afternoon

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report two Odessa women were injured in a one-vehicle accident, that occurred at 1:35 Wednesday afternoon on Missouri 131 just South of Northwest 1000 Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as the 2000 Ford driven by 29-year-old Virginia Bunn of Odessa travelled off the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger’s side. A passenger 71-year-old Patricia Stark of Odessa received serious injuries in the crash, while Bunn’s injuries were said to be minor. Both victims were transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

38-year-old Clinton man falls asleep at the wheel and is injured in a Johnson County Accident

At 5am this (Thursday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 13 two-tenths of a mile South of Southeast 1250 Road in Johnson County.
The accident report states the accident occurred as the driver of a 2006 GMC Canyon, 38-year-old Lindley Bigler of Clinton fell asleep, travelled off the roadway, and overturned. Bigler received minor injuries in the accident but refused transport for treatment.

Lexington woman injured this (Thursday) morning in a Lafayette County accident

Around 7am this (Thursday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident, that occurred on Route “O” eight-tenths of a mile North of Greyhound Road in Lafayette County. The accident happened according to the report as the 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by 49-year-old Tami Allee of Lexington travelled off the roadway. The report states Allee overcorrected multiple times, before going through a fence and coming to rest in a field. She4 was taken to Lafayette Regional by private vehicle for treatment.
