Pettis County accident injures two Windsor residents Saturday Afternoon

At 12:13 Saturday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Elm Branch Road South of Windsor on City Park in Pettis County. According to the accident report the accident occurred as  the 2005 Dodge driven by 23-year-old Juan L. Galloway of Windsor was attempting a left turn onto Elm Branch Road, and slid off the roadway, and overturned coming to rest on its top in a creek. Galloway received moderate injuries, and a passenger 20-year-old Sarah Olyslager also of Windsor received minor injuries. Both victims were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

Bates City man injured in a Lafayette County Accident Saturday afternoon

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident report at 12:15 Saturday afternoon 37-year-old Joseph J. Urusemal of Bates City suffered moderate injuries in a vehicle accident on the South Outer Road at Love Road in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly happened as Urusemal who was driving a 2010 Jeep failed to yield to Oak Grove Police Department, and ran off the roadway. The Jeep struck an embankment causing extensive damage to the vehicle, and moderate injuries to Ursumal, who was reportedly not wearing his seat belt. He was taken to Center Point Hospital by EMS for treatment.

One-Vehicle accident in Lafayette County reported early Sunday morning

Around 5:40 Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “CC” and Highway 23 in Lafayette County. The accident occurred as a 2005 Ford driven by 21-year-old Christopher T. Asnussen of Concordia travelled off the left side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, returned to the roadway, then travelled off the left side again, and overturned. The report states the vehicle then struck a utility pole, and came to rest on its side in a cornfield. Passengers in the vehicle 19-year-old Levi A. Martin of Carrolton suffered moderate injuries, and 22 year-old Christopher S. Hearn of Higginsville received minor 9injuries. Both victims were taken to I70 Medical by private vehicle for treatment.
