Warsaw man injured in a Benton County accident Thursday afternoon

At 2:50 Thursday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 3-vehicle accident at US-65 Highway and Main Street in Warsaw. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2010 Dodge Ram driven by 42-year-old Jamie A.  Mauk of Lebanon, and the 1999 Jeep driven by 34-year-old Karl D. Crawford of Lincoln were stopped in traffic at a construction. The accident reports, that the 2002 GMC Sierra driven by 75-year-old Gary R. Jones of Warsaw overtook and struck the rear of the Crawford vehicle, causing it to impact the Mauk vehicle. The only injury reported in the accident was to Jones who was taken to Bothwell Hospital by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

Two-vehicle accident reported in Johnson County Thursday morning

Around 7:40 Thursday Morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 13 at North 625 Road in Johnson County. According to the accident report the accident happened as the 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by 58-year-old Jean M. Vanegdom of Warrensburg travelled into the path of a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 51-year-old Lori A. Embrey while attempting to pass the vehicle. Vanegdom’s vehicle struck the Embrey vehicle causing it moderate damage, while her vehicle was extensively damaged. Vanegdom was wearing her seatbelt, and suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was taken to St. Lukes East by Johnson County EMS for treatment.
