Sedalia man seriously injured in a Pettis County vehicle accident Wednesday

At 2pm Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Route “B” East of Myers Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet, 25-year-old Gary W. Schnakenburg of Sedalia attempted to pass another vehicle and crossed the centerline. The vehicle then travelled off the roadway, struck the ground, and overturned coming to rest on its wheels. Schnakenburg suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment.

Johnson County Accident injures a Warrensburg man Wednesday evening

Around 5:50 Wednesday evening a Warrensburg man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident, that occurred on Eastbound US-50 Highway 6-tenths of a mile West of Missouri Highway “13” in Johnson County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the 2009 Suzuki Motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Brian R. Oneill of Warresburg began to skid, and struck a 2004 Chevrolet driven by Franklin E. Palomo of Knob Noster. The motorcycle then travelled off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Oneill suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Research Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.
