Lafayette County accident injures a woman and a child Monday night
A 19-year-old woman and a 2-year-old female child were injured in a Lafayette County accident around 11:30 Monday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the 2000 Chevrolet driven by 19-year-old Sophia Baxter of Lexington travelled off the roadway, and then returned to the roadway. The driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to run off the roadway again, and overturn. Baxter was not wearing her seat belt, and suffered moderate injuries. A passenger 2-year-old Adrianna Williams of Lexington was in a safety device, and suffered minor injuries. Both victims were transported to Lexington Regional Hospital by EMS for treatment of their injuries.

Three people injured in a Lafayette County accident early Tuesday morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on westbound I-70 at Mile Marker 52.6 at 2:35am Tuesday morning. The accident report states the accident occurred as the 2004 Nissan driven by 30-year-old Gadeer Muhammad of Kansas City Missouri travelled off the roadway, and struck the median cable barrier. 15-year-old Malik B. Mansi of Olathe Kansas was not wearing his seat belt and suffered moderate injuries in the crash. 33-year-old Wafay K. Muhammad was wearing a seat belt, and suffered minor injuries. Both victims were transported to the I-70  Medical Center by Concordia EMS. The driver received minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.

42-year-old Sedalia man injured in a Pettis County accident Tuesday evening

At 5:08 Tuesday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on Route “Y” at Bethel Road in Pettis County. The accident report states the driver of a 2002 Suzuki, 42-year-old Jonathan Sarabia of Sedalia swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle in his lane, travelled off the roadway, and overturned, ejecting Sarabia. Sarabia suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to Bothwell Hospital by private vehicle.
