Cole Camp woman seriously injured in a Pettis County crash Wednesday morning

At 10:20am Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Route “U” a half mile South of Cordes Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2006 Buick driven by 49-year-old Lydia J. Byler of Cole Camp travelled off the roadway, and overturned multiple times, before striking a telephone pole, and coming to rest on its top. Byler suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Air Ambulance for treatment. Byler was reportedly wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

2-vehicle crash in Benton County injures two male victims

Around 2:20pm Tuesday afternoon a Warsaw man and a Lincoln man were injured in a two-vehicle accident, that happened on US-65 Highway at Cedar Gate Drive in Benton County. According to an accident report from the Missouri state Highway patrol, the accident was the result of a 2013 Cadillac driven by 76-year-old Orla M. Crudgington of Warsaw turning in front of a 2012 Ford driven by 60-year-old Billy J. Vaughn of Lincoln. The crash caused the Crudgington vehicle to overturn multiple times before coming to rest. Crudgington received minor injuries in the wreck, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance. Vaughn reportedly did not suffer any injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
