Michigan man injured in a Pettis County Accident Wednesday evening

Just after 5pm Wednesday evening the Missouri state Highway patrol reported a one vehicle accident on Highway  127 North of Greenridge. The accident reportedly occurred as the eagle International Truck, driven by Forrest C. Luhcs of Colfax Michigan travelled off the roadway, returned to the roadway, crossed the centerline, and then travelled off the road again where it hit a fence and utility pole, before returning to the roadway where it came to rest. Luhcs suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to St. Lukes in Kansas City for treatment.

Pettis County accident results in minor injuries for a Greenridge woman

The Missouri state Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 52 and Highway “E” in Pettis County, at 4:17 Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened according to the report as the driver of a 2004 Dodge, 78-year-old Ruby L. Setzer of Greenridge attempted to cross 52-Highway from Route “E”, and was struck by a 2008 Cadillac driven by 77-year-old Ellen F. Meinert of Warsaw.  Setzer received minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene by EMS.
