57Motorcycle accident in Benton County injures two-Florence residents

At 1:10 Sunday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on Route “H” just South of Route “W” in Benton County. According to the report the accident occurred when the driver of a 1977 Harley Davidson Soft Tail Motorcycle, 58-year-old Dennis L. Ogalsbee of Florence failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle ran off the roadway, and overturned ejecting both the driver and his passenger. The driver received moderate injuries in the crash, while the passenger identified as 57-year-old Karen S. Ogalsbee also of Florence suffered serious injuries. Both victims were transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Lifeflight for treatment.

Lafayette County accident injures a Higginsville woman Tuesday morning

Around 6:45am Tuesday morning 39-year-old Shannon W. Hocking was injured in a one-vehicle accident as he swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report Hocking was travelling on Page City Road a mile West of route 213 in Lafayette County when the accident occurred. The report states the 1997 Dodge Hocking was driving travelled off the roadway totaling the vehicle. Hocking was taken to Lafayette Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of what were described as moderate injuries.

53-year-old Ashland man injured in a Henry County accident Sunday

At 5:15 Sunday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Missouri Route “7” at Route “W” in Henry County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2010 Victory driven by 53-year-old Robert E. Stacy of Ashland overtook the 2012 Chrysler driven by 32-year-old Dustin L. Koll of Lincoln. Stacy was ejected, and received minor injuries, he was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
