Two-vehicle accident reported in Pettis County Sunday night

At 6pm Sunday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Northbound Highway 65 at Bothwell Park Road North of Sedalia. The accident happened according to the report as the a 2008 Chrysler in the left lane driven by 46-year-old Phillip Wellman of Bogard Missouri attempted to change lanes, and struck a 2005 Chrysler in the right lane  A passenger in the Wellman vehicle 40-year-old Venita Wellman suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.

Vehicle accident on the Missouri State Fairgrounds injures a 7-year-old girl

Just before 9 pm Sunday night a 2001 Ford F-250 driven by Jack Rhoades of Sturgeon Missouri was travelling on the dirt lot near the sheep pavilion when it struck a parked 1999 Ford F-250, then a chain link fence. The vehicle travelled under the fence and struck a 2007 Ford Expedition that was parked at the rear of a fifth wheel unit occupied by several people. The Expedition was pushed into the fifth wheel before coming to rest. The only injury reported was 7-year-old Tyne Wilson a passenger in the Expedition who received minor injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by State fair EMS for treatment.

Lafayette County accident injures two people Monday night

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Highway “T” at Rehkop in Lafayette County. The accident occurred as the 1999 Chevrolet driven by 19-year-old Colin Eber of Higginsville was travelling Northbound on Highway “T” and failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to run off the roadway, strike a ditch and overturn.  Eber and a passenger 19-year-old Thomas Grinage of Warrensburg received minor injuries and were taken to Lafayette County Regional by ambulance for treatment.

21-year-old Warsaw woman injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning

At 9:50 Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Quail Run Drive just North of Route “T” in Benton County. According to the accident report the accident happened when the driver of a 2004 Dodge Stratus, 24-year-old Kristopher Buckler of Warsaw failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 34-year-old John Boley also of Warsaw. 21-year-old Carla Kosky of Warsaw was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. Kosky was taken to Golden Valley Medical Center for treatment.
