Sedalia Man Arrested After K9 Alerts to Vehicle
A traffic stop at Washington and Pettis led to the arrest of a Sedalia man on charges of possession of synthetic narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sedalia Police report that 46-year-old Michael James Maggard was pulled over after stopping improperly at two different stop signs at 10:52 p.m. on September 27. Police say a K9 alerted to the vehicle, and a search of the driver and vehicle revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Maggard was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.
