Sedalia Man Arrested For Tampering in Felony Case

On May 29, deputies arrested David Gene Williams Jr., Sedalia, on charges of Tampering With Physical Evidence in a Felony Prosecution (Class D Felony), and Resisting Arrest (Class A Misdemeanor). Bond was set at $10,000.

Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joey Douglas Hays, 25, at Southgate Circle on May 28. Hays had two active warrants out of Pettis County with a total bond of $300 cash only. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked.

On May 30, Jerry Olsen of Sedalia reported that someone stole his push lawnmower and two flags from his yard recently.

Lee Allan Volk, Sedalia, was arrested by deputies on May 30 on a Cooper County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.

On June 1, deputies arrested Christopher L. Miller, Sedalia, on charges of Driving While Suspended. He was booked and released on summonses with a court date of July 12.

On Tuesday, Kenneth Adameck with Brooking Park Village reported the theft of a trailer from the business.
