Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 500 block of East 4th street for a trespassing complaint. The victim stated the suspect had been issued a trespass warning already*, but he had come back to her porch. When Officers arrived, the suspect was sitting on the front porch. He then got up and began to walk away. The suspect claimed he had been invited to the residence by the victim. The probable cause statement notes the suspect was intoxicated and belligerent, and he threatened to “cause problems” for Jail Staff and Officers, indicating he was a “menace” and a “gangster.” The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Bothwell Emergency Room for a fit for confinement check. Joseph Elmer Fore, 41, Homeless, was arrested on charges of Trespassing in the 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest. Fore was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Petits County Jail.

On the afternoon of March 28th, Officers were dispatched to a reported property damage incident in the 700 block of East 9th Street. Officers gathered information for a report.

*Fore had been Trespassed on March 27th from this same address. He was arrested for this same charge earlier this same week, reported by KSIS here. He had also been convicted of a Violation of an Order of Protection in November of 2023.
