Late Monday night, Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of East 4th for a trespassing report. The subject, who was known to the victim, reportedly was issued a trespass warning previously for the residence. But the subject returned anyway, and unplugged the victim's security cameras, then sat down on the porch yelling, drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. After investigation, 41-year-old Joseph Elmer Fore, homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold for 2nd degree trespassing.

Two women were arrested for shoplifting at WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, on Thursday afternoon. Sedalia Police responded to WalMart and took a report at 1:37 p.m. The women reportedly entered the store and attempted to leave with $25.36 in unpaid merchandise. The merchandise was recovered and court summons for stealing were issued to 41-year-old Megan P. Tubbs and 64-year-old Shirley J. McCreary, both of Sedalia.
