The State Fair Community College Roadrunners Men’s basketball team won last night (Jan. 22) in convincing fashion 98-67 in Region 16 play.

The State Fair Community College Roadrunners Basketball team is on the road tonight (Jan. 22) versus Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzlies. State Fair is 14-6, while West Plains is 13-8 this season. Both teams are 1-1 in Region 16 play.

Over the weekend, the 2013 S-C Lady Tiger McDonald's Classic wrapped up with a thrilling championship game. Nixa was crowned the champion of the tournament over Hickman in one of the best match-ups you will get to see before the state tournament.  The Smith-Cotton girls won the consolation game and looks to build off that win as they prep for conference play.

State Fair Community College basketball is having a great year for both the men's and women's teams. Coach Kevin Bucher has the Lady Roadrunners 13-4 overall this season, while Coach Kevin Thomas has the men at 14-5. This season both teams have had the luxury of going to games on a bus provided by Ditzfeld Transfer, which Athletic Director Darren Pannier says is making a huge difference on and off

The 2013 McDonald's Boys Classic brings on second round action today.  They hope to have all the games back at Smith-Cotton High School gym after losing power for the final two games in the first round yesterday (Jan. 10), utilizing the Smith-Cotton Jr. High gym to finish the first round.

The Smith-Cotton Tigers will be hosting the 2013 McDonald's Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament at Smith-Cotton High School.  The McDonald's Boys Classic will be held on Jan. 10-12 and the McDonald's Girls Classic will be held on Jan. 17-19.

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners are off to a flying start for their season and are 11-3. The Lady Roadrunners begin Region 16 Basketball versus Three Rivers Community College at the Fred E.
