The 2013 Show Me Honor Flight veterans returned to Sedalia late last night after their trip to visit their memorials in Washington D.C.  With financial support from the community, the veterans visited the WW II, Korean and Vietnam war memorials. The old Wood's Store next to the Smith-Cotton Jr. High was recently sold. CVS Pharmacy is said to be moving in to that location, but decided to start from scratch. This week, Poort Excavating fenced off the location over the weekend and tore down the structure today (April 30).  You can see photos of the demolition in this slideshow provided by Kevin Walker.
