Two- Sedalia Teens suffer serious injuries in a Pettis county accident Monday

Just after 3pm Monday afternoon The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a 0ne-vehicle accident on Highway “U” a tenth of a mile South of McCormick Road in Pettis County. The accident happened according to the report as the 2011 Chevrolet driven by 17-year-old Teresa Costilla of Sedalia travelled off the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Costilla and her passenger 18-year-old Julia G. Aguirre also of Sedalia suffered serious injuries, and were both transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Air Ambulance for treatment.

Henry County accident injures a Clinton man Friday morning

At 6:15am Friday morning 37-year-old Joshua N. Trent of Clinton failed to stop at the intersection of Route “M” at Missouri Highway 13 in Henry County. The 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Trent ran off the roadway, and onto a private drive. The vehicle then struck a gate and a tree before coming to rest. Trent received minor injuries in the wreck, and was taken to Golden Valley Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.

Saturday night accident in Johnson County injures a Warrensburg man

Around 8:30pm Saturday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “DD” four-tenths of a mile before South Ridge Drive. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2003 Pontiac driven by 31-year-old Robert A. Sigsbury of Warrensburg travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Sigsbury received minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene. The accident report states the vehicle was totaled, and was towed from the scene.
