American Legion Teaches Sacred Heart Students About Flag Etiquette And The Flag

Members of the American Legion educate fifth-grade students at Sacred Heart School about our United States flag and flag etiquette.

Throughout the school year, the students will be responsible for raising and lowering the flag each school day. According to its website, the American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome community programs that advocate patriotism and honor and promote strong national security and devotion to service members and veterans.
