Leeton, Concordia Vy For District 8 Title Friday

Results from Class 1, District 8 girls basketball at Sacred Heart Wednesday night:
Number one seed Leeton beat number four seed Sacred Heart, 66-25.

Regan Shafer scored 16 for Leeton. Grace Goodwin scored 15 and surpassed 1,500 points for her career.

Number three seed Concordia beat number two seed Green Ridge, 68-36.

Cate Cooper had 20 points for Concordia. Kailyn Hoos had 16 points for Green Ridge.

Leeton and Concordia girls will square off Friday at 6:30 p.m. for the District 8 title.
