Leeton Man Injured in JoCo Crash
A Leeton man was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday morning in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2020 Peterbilt, driven by a 44-year-old man from Warrensburg, was at Missouri Highway 2 at SE 301 Road just after 7:30 a.m., when the Peterbilt failed to stop at the intersection and struck the driver’s side of a westbound 2018 Chevrolet, driven by a 65-year-old man from Leeton.
The Leeton man suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.
The Peterbilt had extensive damage and towed by Don’s Truck Towing, while the Chevy was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.
Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
