Auction Causes Three-day Shutdown of One Block of West Main

Beginning at midnight on Thursday night, July 21 through 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, West Main Street will be closed to allow for an auction of merchandise and buildings located at 104-114 W. Main Street, according to the City of Sedalia.

Truck traffic will need to detour and use North Missouri Avenue during this three-day period.

Other travelers not attending the auction will want to avoid the area as congested streets and crowds are expected during the event.

The City apologized for any inconvenience the street closure may cause as the property owner works to dispose of their merchandise and buildings.
