A Missouri man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Benton County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2005 International, driven by David S. Penn of Cabool, Mo., was on US 65, north of Schoolhouse Avenue, at 8:55 p.m., when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2006 Kenworth, driven by 43-year-old Cale D. Seymour of Knob Noster.

The Kenworth then traveled off the right side of the roadway and caught fire. The International traveled off the right side of the roadway.

Penn suffered moderate injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Don's Truck Towing of Sedalia.

Benton County deputies assisted the three Troopers on scene.
