California Man Injured in Moniteau County Motorcycle Accident

A California man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Monday morning in Moniteau County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2016 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 58-year-old Carol J. Twenter of California, attempted to negotiate a turn on Missouri 87 at the US 50 westbound on-ramp at 6:39 a.m., when it drove into the path of a southbound 2008 Harley Davidson, driven by 27-year-old Travis L. Davis of California.

Davis suffered serious injuries, and was transported to University Hospital by Mid-Mo Ambulance for treatment.

The Tacoma had moderate damage, while the Harley was totaled.
