Camdenton Man Killed in Crash With Rock Bluff
A Camdenton man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Tuesday morning in Camden County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2007 Hyundai Accent driven by 22-year-old Alexander N. Mustain of Camdenton was traveling on US 54, east of Route A at 2:25 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side, returned and began to skid, then slid off the right side of the roadway. The Hyundai then struck a rock bluff and overturned.
Mustain was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:28 a.m. by Camden County Coroner Jason Elliott. Mustain was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report. The body was taken to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton.
The Hyundai was totaled and towed.
This was Troop F's third fatality for June and the 23rd for the year.
