
Camdenton Woman Killed After Car Strikes Tree
A Camdenton woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle struck a tree.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 40-year-old Crystal M. Lewis of Camdenton was eastbound in Camden County, driving a 2018 Subaru Impreza on Twin Rivers Point, 21 feet west of C. John Drive at 5:15 p.m., when the vehicle crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene by Camden County Medical Examiner Jason Funke at 5:25 p.m. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the report.
The Subaru had extensive damage.
