
Chicago Man Drowns at Lake of the Ozarks
A Chicago man drowned Sunday after jumping off a cliff at Lake of the Ozarks.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Matthew G. Greenfield of Chicago, Illinois, jumped off a cliff at the 5.1 mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks around 5:30 p.m., and did not resurface.
Greenfield was pronounced dead by Camden County Medical Examiner Steve Dougan at 7:07 p.m. The body was taken to the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton.
