A 30-year-old Clinton man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 12-year-old male juvenile was driving a 2001 Chevy S-10 through a farm field too fast and crashed into a ditch around 5 p.m.

30-year-old Frederick E. Griffitt of Clinton suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

Griffitt was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, while the juvenile was not.
