A Clinton man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday morning in Henry County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2019 Chevy Silverado, driven by 54-year-old Glenda  J. Ballard of  Columbia, Mississippi, was on Missouri 7, west of Route O  just after 10 a.m., and being followed by a westbound 2022 Ford Escape, driven by 27-year-old Caleb E. Stanford of Clinton, when Ballard slowed down to make a right turn into a private drive, and the Ford failed to slow down and struck the Chevy in the rear.

 

A passenger in the Silverado, 54-year-old William C. Ballard of Clinton, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Golden Valley Ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Silverado had moderate damage, while the Ford Escape had extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
