Driver Slides off Road, Vehicle Hits Tree in Pettis County

A Green Ridge man escaped serious injury when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree in Pettis County.

45-year-old Bryan A. McKim of Green Ridge was the driver of a westbound 1999 Mazda on Route B, at Ragar Road at 9:30 Wednesday morning, when the driver lost control due to the weather conditions and ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

McKim suffered minor injuries, but the Mazda was totaled, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
