Five Arrested in JoCo for Sedalia Theft at JC Penney
On Tuesday at approximately 12:51 p.m., Johnson County Deputies were informed of a theft that occurred at JC Penney in Sedalia.
Multiple subjects entered the store and grabbed arm loads of clothing and left in a blue colored Chevrolet Malibu heading westbound on US Highway 50.
With the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, stop sticks were deployed in the 1200 block of NW 50 Highway and all five subjects were taken into custody.
Approximately $5,000 worth of clothing was recovered from the vehicle.
