Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday night in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2017 Dodge Journey, driven by a 15-year-old juvenile male from Sedalia, attempted to cross US 50 at Route FF at 9 p.m. and traveled into the path of a westbound 2016 Ford Escape, driven by 20-year-old Justin M. Herr of Versailles.
