Strong to severe storms are possible beginning this afternoon and evening. Hazards include strong to damaging winds, large hail, and a possible tornado or two. Flash flooding is possible with any rainfall, with increasing chances expected late this week.

The National Weather Service has once again included Sedalia and the surrounding area in the posssible threat of severe weather for late Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening.

Accordng to the National Weather Service:

Strong to severe storms are possible throughout the area this
 afternoon and evening. Some storms will be capable of producing
 large hail and damaging winds, with an isolated tornado risk
 possible. Flash flooding is possible with any rainfall as the
 evening progresses.
Additional storms are expected throughout the week, with increasing
 flash flooding potential developing by the late work week and early
 weekend.
