Green Ridge Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking, Forgery
On Wednesday afternoon around 1 p.m., a search warrant was executed by Pettis County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force at 33062 Highway E in regards to a continuous drug investigation.
Upon arrival, Charles Spellmeyer, 55, of Green Ridge, was detained and search was conducted of the residence. Methamphetamine and fentanyl was located during the search in addition to forged license plates.
Spellmeyer was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he is being held on three counts forgery, 2nd degree drug trafficking, and possession of a controlled substance.

Charges have been submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor’s Office. Spellmeyer was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.
