A Holden man was injured in an ATV rollover that occurred Friday night in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 65-year-old Larry D. Callahan of Holden was operating a 2023 Polaris ATV on County Road 1501, south of County Road 950, around 9:30 p.m., when Callahan began to skid on the gravel roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver. The ATV came to rest in the middle of the roadway.

Callahan suffered serious injuries, and was transported JCAD to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

The ATV had extensive damage.

Callahan was later arrested by the Patrol at 10:38 p.m., and charged with driving while intoxicated.
