Holden Man Injured When Motorcycle Overturns

A Holden motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a Johnson County crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2016 Harley Davidson driven by 61-year-old Patrick J. Ford of Holden, was northbound on NW 1421 Road, south of US 50 at 7:40 a.m., when he approached a stop sign and began to skid. The driver lost control and the bike overturned.

Ford suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD.

Johnson County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
